About DON LEWIS INVESTIGATIONS

Don Lewis Investigations, is a private investigation firm, located in the City of Rialto in San Bernardino County. I began my investigative career over forty-five years ago gaining experience with in-depth investigations, undercover operations and surveillances. I served with law enforcement for over thirty years, with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and Rialto Police Department. In 2023 I became a Certified Professional Investigator.

I served both departments in many disciplines including K9, Narcotics, Detectives, Traffic and the San Bernardino County Auto Theft Task Force (SANCATT). With thousands of criminal and traffic investigations, many court appearances and depositions to his credit. I retired from law enforcement in 2010 as a Sergeant with the Traffic Unit. I've also worked within the private sector as a Corporate Security Agent, Investigative Consultant and a Private Investigator for many years while engaged with law enforcement and after retirement.

Throughout my career I have received hundreds of hours of classroom and practical training in areas of evidence collection, narcotics, traffic & criminal investigations, interviewing and surveillance. Don has been involved with many covert and undercover investigations utilizing video surveillance and CCTV systems. I am a DUI expert with over 1500 DUI arrests and a Collision Investigator with over 2000 investigations (including MAIT). I have worked closely with Department of Insurance (DOI) and National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) investigators handling many covert surveillances and investigations.

I received an Associate of Science Degree in Criminal of Justice from Cerro Coso Community College and an Associate of Science Degree in Business from Columbia Southern University.

I am currently registered with San Bernardino County as a Process Server (#1553). This enables me to serve a variety of court papers.

I am currently an active member of the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI) and the Southern California Fraud Investigators Association (SCFIA).
